We meet in Tumbulgum and cross the Tweed River to the smaller, quieter Rous river. The Tweed River can be a bit choppy if its windy and a bit busy. Once on the Rous river however, it is quieter and we paddle past sugar cane and cattle farms with views of the mountains. We will come back the way we came. Pack water and morning tea.
