Overnight Lost Valley, 20-22 Dec

Meeting on Friday at 5pm, we climb up above the Wanganui Waterfall and slide into the never-logged Lost Valley and set up camp by 7pm. In the morning we clamber up to Lyrebird Falls where you can take a shower that has cascaded down 50m. We then scrambled up a shoot to the top of the Falls where we get a panoramic view over this box canyon full of bright green rainforest trees.

There is the option to return to the cars on Saturday arvo or camp Saturday night with exploration of the main waterfall and other parts of the valley, returning to the cars by mid arvo.
