Quandong Falls- Thur Mar 26

This half day walk starts at the Minyon Falls Picnic Area and follows the Minyon Loop track, but turns off before it really begins the drop into the Repentance Creek Valley. From there it takes you along a shortish path through rainforest to Quandong Falls. For those who wish, we can maintain quiet on the way there. At the top of the falls there are views over the forest covered ridges toward the Repentance Creek valley below. There we will stop for a rest, snack and perhaps a dip in the pool. We will then return over hill and dale with plenty of chances for chats and conversation on the wider Quandong Fire Trail, past beautiful fern trees and tall eucalypts. We'll arrive back for a cup of tea at the Minyon Picnic Area, taking in the view from the top of Minyon Falls on the way.
