Nature Journaling walk - Sat 6th December (new date)
Brunswick Heads
08:30 – 15:00
This easy walk will take us from Brunswick Heads to Grays Lane, Tyagarah, between the sand dunes and Simpsons Creek. I recently did a nature journaling workshop with Paula Peters at the Outdoor Health Forum and I'd like to offer activities from her approach with you. If you are experienced in nature journaling you could share your approach with us too. We will stop in different spots along the route to draw and write. Bring a journal or paper for drawing/painting and writing (more details to follow). If the weather forecast suggests it will be extremely hot we might do a shorter walk from South Golden Beach under the littoral rainforest where there is more shade. We can finish with a swim in the ocean or at the Tyagarah Ti-tree lake at the end. To make the walk shorter so we have more time for journaling we will organise a car shuffle before we start so we walk from Brunswick Heads to Tyagarah one way. I will send an email with final details on Thursday prior to the walk once I know the weather forecast. Distance: 8 km Grade 2 Leader: David Roland  Enquiries: david@davidroland.com.au
